I love mountains. I love being on them. I love being near them. I love looking at them and I love climbing them. But getting started in mountaineering can be quite daunting, especially when it comes to getting gear. A beginner is faced with a huge number of choices and may often struggle to find good advice. In this blog I hope to share my experience with you and to also learn from you.
